FAMILY HOTEL „THE BODY“
This small, fascinating hotel, fully immersed in a beautiful centuries-old forest, is situated at only about one-hundred metres from lake Batak, on one of its most beautiful hill-sides. Its windows frame and reflect images of the lake within a volume of absolute whiteness which, in this way, acquires bondless dimensions.
“The Body”, inserted in this natural landscape with its well proportioned dimensions and forms, offers the guests a sojourn of complete relaxation in a familiar atmosphere.
The entrance garden includes the guests\\\' parking place. The entrance hall, which consists of a spacious living room with a reception desk, an open staircase and a lift, leads to a pretty internal courtyard and a small SPA centre – fitness centre, sauna, relaxation room and dressing rooms. In the restaurant, which is situated upstairs and offers 40 sitting places and a small but well furnished bar, guests can enjoy the taste and the flavour of Bulgarian traditional cooking and see the dishes being cooked under their eyes in the open kitchen area.
The restaurant windows can be completely opened and this, on sunny summer days, changes the place into an open air restaurant which looks like a floating stage in front of a spectacular view of the lake.
On the left of the stairs the sight is caught by an intriguing double volume with a water wall and a swimming pool provided with a hydro massage corner (to be opened soon). This area, which links the living area with the sleeping rooms, is enriched by landscape windows, and will frequently house art exhibitions.
From here, by the means of an elegant passage, we get into the sleeping section, where part of the bedrooms and a suite are situated.
An elegant entrance furnished with a functional wardrobe and a mirror reflecting the room perspectives leads into each bedroom and bathroom. All the bedrooms are double and are furnished in a rather minimalist style, i.e. with the minimum necessary furniture: the bed and the TV. All the windows offer a picture of the lake against an unbroken white space. The bathroom is furnished with a washbasin, a bidet, a WC and a large shower box.
The suite is formed by a large, comfortable living room containing a small fireplace, a bedroom separated from the living room by the means of an original and functional wall pannel, and a large wardrobe room facing a spacious bathroom. In the hydro massage tub, which is situated in front of a fireplace, you can enjoy a pleasant bath in front of the burning flames while, why not?, sipping a glass of champagne.
The upper floor contains an elegant conference room and a large, luxury suite with a glass wall facing the lake. Crossing the small bridge overlooking the double volume, we can reach 11 more double bedrooms, all absolutely white and minimalist, enriched by roof windows which create an atmosphere of lights and shadows that can give you the impression of being under a tree.
The aim of this building is that of: linking the body to nature and nature to the body and fusing them together in a “sojourn in perfect harmony with time.”
